MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION
The president is Gregory Werich, the vice president is Melba Cole, the secretary
is Nancy Bonham and the treasurer is Pete Cole. The office is at 223 West Washington
St. (Carnegie Building), phone (260) 824-1514. Volunteers in office. Depression
support group. Alzheimer’s Support information and Mental Health public education.
Services have included Widow to Widow support program, Christmas Gift Lift for
gifts for distribution at Logansport State Hospital, Nursing Home Program for
parties, Local Christmas -- Cards, Parties and gift for each nursing home. Also,
Parent-to-Parent Support Group. Education Committee to help improve community’s
knowledge and visibility of mental health. Membership open to any Wells County
resident.
