under-insured individuals meeting set economic guides. Also unemployed people.

support group. Alzheimer’s Support information and Mental Health public education.
Services have included Widow to Widow support program, Christmas Gift Lift for
gifts for distribution at Logansport State Hospital, Nursing Home Program for
parties, Local Christmas -- Cards, Parties and gift for each nursing home. Also,
Parent-to-Parent Support Group. Education Committee to help improve community’s
knowledge and visibility of mental health. Membership open to any Wells County
resident.
COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
The Wells County Health Department has offices at 223 West Washington Street in
the Wells Carnegie Government Annex, phone 260-824-6489; fax 260-824-8803. The
office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Services include childhood immunizations, TB testing, birth certificates, death
certificates, septic permits, septic installer registration, food permits at $25
and $50, water testing available, housing and environmental complaint attention.
