Thomas Brinneman, 65

Thomas J. Brinneman, 65, Kalamazoo, Mich.,  died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, in Kalamazoo.
A former resident of Bluffton until his retirement when he moved to Kalamazoo to be with his family, he was a decorated sergeant in the Marines and a highly decorated Vietnam veteran. He also served as a guard in the American Embassy.
He was born on Feb. 15, 1947 in Three Rivers, Mich.
Survivors include seven brothers, Roy Brinneman, Roger Brinneman, “Little” Tom Betke, Michael Brinneman, Rick Brinneman, Jesse Brown and Jack Branning; two sisters, Carlene Campbell and Della Jones; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Services will be held at 1802 Fulford, Kalamazoo, Mich. on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 2 p.m.
Preferred memorials are to the VFW, Post Sprinkle Rd., Portage, Mich.
