Sandra Lynn ‘Sandi’ Sleppy, 60

Sandra Lynn “Sandi” Sleppy, 60, of Indianapolis, passed away at 4:50 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at Indiana University Hospital in the Medical Intensive Care Unit in Indianapolis.
She was born on Thursday, Nov. 20, 1952, in Bluffton. Sandi was a 1971 graduate of Southern Wells High School, graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, and graduated with a master’s degree from Indiana University of Indianapolis. She had worked for more than 30 years for the State of Indiana presently as Program Manager of Healthy Families.
Survivors include her Mother - Nellie Mae (Stinson) Sleppy, Poneto, Sister - Cindy Jo Horrom, Poneto, Niece - Amy (Phil) Benedict, Hartford City, Great Niece - Alyssa Benedict, Great Nephews - Michael Benedict, Ryan Benedict, and Zachery Horrom/Manogg.
She was preceded in death by her Father - Joseph Samuel “Joe” Sleppy (died Nov. 1,2012) and a Nephew - Kristopher Horrom (died Apr. 8, 2007).
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor St., Montpelier, on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
A service to celebrate her life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor St., Montpelier, at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, with Pastor Marlene Ellis officiating.
