Sandra J. Feltt, 73

Sandra J. Feltt, 73, of Montpelier, passed away at 1:50 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at her residence . 
She was born Feb. 7, 1939, in Hartford City, to Charley L. Shady and Daisy (Schmidt) Shady. She married Robert Feltt, May 9, 1958, in the EUB Church-Hartford City; he survives. .
Mrs. Feltt was a 1956 graduate of Hartford City High School. She has worked at Bonham Insurance, Joe’s Foods, Sheller-Globe, Montpelier Glove and Bluffton Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Feltt was a member of the Montpelier Church of the Nazarene for more than 50 years and held many positions within the church.
Other survivors include three sons, Mark (Tonya) A. Feltt of Los Angeles, Calif., David W. Feltt of Indianapolis and John M. Feltt of Nashville, Tenn.; one daughter, Nancy (Tim) A. Smith of Wawaka; two grandchildren, Tabitha L. Smith of Indianapolis and Gabrielle Smith of Muncie; three brothers, Dale “Gene” Shady of Elverson, Pa., Jerry (Derinda) Shady of Hartford City and Don Shady of Upland; and four sisters, Doris Glancy of Hartford City, Patricia Shady of Hartford City, Charlene (Willy) Jennart of Hartford City and Linda (Dan) Ealy of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Robert, William and Paul Dee Shady; and four sisters, Anna Havens, Kay Shady, Carolyn Sue Shady and Florence Joan Shady.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at Montpelier Church of the Nazarene, 440 N. Standard Blvd., Montpelier. A service to celebrate Sandra’s life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at the church, with Pastor Laura High officiating. Interment will follow in the Brookside Cemetery in Montpelier.
