Mary Jane Falk, 86, of Bluffton, passed away May 26, 2015, at Heritage Pointe Nursing Home in Warren.
She was born Feb. 26, 1929, in Wells County to the late Charles and Margret (McFarren) Wilson. Mary Jane worked at Franklin Electric for 13 years before working with Nowalk’s Progress. She later went to work for the Wells County Jail as a cook for ten years before retiring. Mary Jane was a member of First Church of Christ. She had a passion for going to the Gospel Barn and garage sales. Her other hobbies included knitting, water skiing in her youth, and spending time with her family. She loved her family and cherished her 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Rita (Richard “Butch”) Mayer of Bluffton, Kelli Merriman of Ossian, Lori (Ray) Angel of Columbia City, Tracy Falk, Jim Falk both of Bluffton; sister, Doris (Gerald) Lucas of Warsaw; and a brother, Roger (Markeeta) Wilson of Bluffton.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her son, Glen L. Falk Jr.; sisters, Helen Meyer, Mona Jean Boyle, Janet K. Fahl, and Ruth Arnold.
A service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday May 29, at Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home, 308 W. Washington St., with calling one hour prior, Rev. Larry Sprinkle officiating. Calling will be at the funeral home Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Bluffton.
