Randall Bruce Miller, 68

Randall Bruce “Randy” Miller, 68, of Bluffton, passed away at 10:21 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne. 
Randy was born in Bluffton, June 15, 1944, to Russell Miller and Helen (Brinneman) Miller.
Randy resided in Bluffton for eight years and previously resided in San Antonio, Texas. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran having served our country from Feb. 8, 1965, to Feb. 7, 1969, and also served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve from Feb. 7, 1969, to Feb. 7, 1971.
Randy enjoyed latch hooking and putting together puzzles and at one time, he was one of the best dart throwers in the country.
He is survived by one sister, Neenah Grove of Springfield, Ohio; one nephew, John J. (Donna) Emshwiller of Bluffton; and by six nieces.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta  Franklyn “Frankie” Emshwiller.
Calling hours will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Thoma/Rich, Chaney & Lemler Funeral Home.  A memorial service celebrating Randy’s life will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home with Certified Funeral Celebrant Jeff Lemler officiating.  Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Ossian with full military honors by American Legion Post 111. 
Preferred memorials are to First Church of Christ.
