Patricia Ellen Boxell,, 65

Patricia Ellen Boxell, 65, of Warren, passed away at 1:40 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2012, at her residence.
She was born on Oct. 20, 1946, in Wells County, to Wendell and Madaline (Elwood) Thompson, and graduated from Warren High School in the Class of 1965. She married Max Boxell in Liberty Center on July 25, 1965; he survives.
Patty retired from Bluffton Motor Works in April 2011. She was a member of the Rotary reading buddies at Lincoln Elementary School in Huntington, the Jaycee Wives, and the prayer group of Liberty Center Baptist Church. She was a member of the Markle Church of Christ.
Patty loved her grandchildren, flowers and Christmas. 
Other surviving relatives include three sons, Chod (Claudia) Boxell of Warren, Kirt (Dawn) Boxell of Westfield, and Cory (Carrie) Boxell of Huntington; eight grandchildren, Shelby and Taylor Boxell, both of Warren, Katlynn, Marissa, Rebecca and Sierra Boxell, all of Westfield, and Reece and Avery Boxell, both of Huntington; and two sisters, Louanne Kaye of Warren and  Connie (Col. Dennis Ret.) Carpenter of Charleston, S.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday, June 7, at the Glancy-H. Brown and Son Funeral Home, 203 N Matilda St., Warren. A service to celebrate Patty’s life will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Gerald Moreland officiating. Burial will follow at the Thompson Home Cemetery in Warren.
Preferred memorials are to Rotary Reading Buddies in care of Lincoln Elementary School.
