Lloyd Edwin Yager, 84, of Ossian, went to his heavenly home, Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012.
He was born on Feb. 7, 1928, to the late Luster and Edith (Millholland) Yager.
He was the owner and operator of Yager Barber Shop for 47 years, before retiring in 1996. He also served 16 years, eight as president, on the Ossian Town Council. He was a member of Ossian United Methodist Church and Ossian Lions Club. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, golfing, his yard work, and especially his family.
Survivors include his children, Kathleen (Harold) Clark of Ossian, Steven (Jan) Yager of Fort Wayne, and Kim (Julie) Yager of Crawfordsville; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Evelyn Isnogle.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Florence (Wehmeyer) Yager; and two brothers, Harold and Dale Yager.
Services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Ossian United Methodist Church, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 3 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian.
Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
