Sharon K. Beechler, 73

Sharon K. Beechler, 73, of rural Bluffton, passed away on Tuesday evening at her residence.
Sharon was born July 11, 1941, in Wells County to Everett N. and Ruth L. (Radenbaugh) Johnson. She was a 1959 graduate of Petroleum High School and a graduate of Warner School of Cosmetology.
On Jan. 26, 1962 in Wells County, Sharon and Jerry L. Beechler were married. A homemaker, Sharon also helped on the family farm and was an active member of the Extension Homemakers Club, where she served as a past president. She was also a member of the West Missionary Church in Berne, where she served for many years in the children’s department.
Sharon is survived by her husband Jerry of Bluffton; two sons, Todd A. Beechler of Berne and Tab R. Beechler of Bluffton; along with a granddaughter, Shelby A. Beechler of Bluffton; and a great-grandson, Jordan Beechler, also of Bluffton.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Geraldine Dick and Shirley Orr.
A service to celebrate Sharon’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, at West Missionary Church in Berne, with calling for one hour prior to the service. Pastor Keith Rupp will officiate. Calling hours will be held Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton. Burial will follow at Six Mile Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Sharon’s memory to West Missionary Church or Family Life Care. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton.
