Paul D. Kahn, 85

Paul D. Kahn, 85, of rural Ossian, died Friday, Aug. 28, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Paul was born April 17, 1930, in Wells County, to Bill D. Kahn and Vadis Green Kahn. He married Marilyn L. Scrogham Dec. 6, 1951. His wife survives.
Paul worked for Dana Corporation as a leadman, where he retired in 1985 with 30 years and five months of service. He  was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a lifelong member of the Circle W. Riders.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Gary (Brenda) Kahn of Liberty Center and Larry (Kandie) Kahn of Craigville; a daughter, Paula Omlor of Decatur; two brothers, Bill (Norma) Kahn of Roanoke and Tom (Trolus) Kahn of Craigville; a sister, Linda Luginbill of Decatur; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and his two dogs, Cricket and Cutie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David; four sisters and one brother; and two great-granddaughters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, at the Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home in Decatur.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, also at the Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home in Decatur, with Pastor Anthony Robles officiating. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Ossian with military rites performed by members of  Bluffton American Legion Post 111.
Preferred memorials are to Riley Children’s Hospital and the Norwell Marching Band.
