Delores Joray, 100

Delores M. Joray, 100, of Berne, passed away at 10:55 a.m. Saturday May 2, 2015 at Swiss Village in Berne. 
Delores was born in Adams County July 30, 1914 to Noah and Lula (Shoaf) Egly. She married William P. Joray on April 26, 1941 at the St. Luke Evangelical and Reformed Church in Honduras,  Ind.  William passed away April 1, 2004. 
Delores graduated from Monroe High School in 1933. Delores was a homemaker and was a member of the St. Luke Church. Delores and her husband had lived on a farm in Hartford Township from 1941 until 2001 at which time they moved to Swiss Village.
She is survived by her two sons, Marvin (L. Pauline) Joray of Wentworth, S.D. and Charles (Peggy) Joray of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Ireta Harmon and Mrs. Milita Moeschberger, both of Decatur. 
Visitation will be held at Swiss Village in Berne on Tuesday May 5, from 2 to 7:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held at St. Luke Church, 4960 W 100 N, Decatur, Wednesday May 6, at 10 a.m. with Pastor Mike Wertenberger officiating. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service at the church. 
Interment will be at the St. John’s Cemetery, Vera Cruz. Memorials may be made in Delores’ name to St. Luke Church Memorial Fund.
