Bonnie Bryan, 80

Bonnie Lou Bryan, 80, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at Christian Care Retirement Center in Bluffton. 
Born Oct. 16, 1932, to the late Edward Lee and Ethel Fay (Davison) Gaunt, she married Edwin Clair Bryan June 14, 1952; he survives.
Bonnie was a member of the Pleasant Dale Church of the Brethren.  She was active in the Brethren Disaster Ministries as a Project Director with her husband.
Other survivors include her daughter Lisa (John) Schmitt of Floyds Knobs; her son, Nathaniel (Juanita) Bryan of Bluffton; a brother, William Richard (Ina) Gaunt of Fort Wayne; her granddaughters, Jennifer (Jay) Reynolds and Allison Schmitt; and two great-granddaughters, Charlotte Reynolds and Eliana Reynolds.  She is also survived by one sibling
Bonnie was preceded in death by two sons, Jonathan Clair Bryan and Edwin Charles “Chad” Bryan; her parents, Edward and Ethel Gaunt as well as Clem and Ona Gibson; and her siblings, Darlene Vera Gaunt, David Arthur Gaunt, Charles Clayton Gaunt, Darrell Paul Gaunt, Edward Lee Gaunt Junior, Mark Wayne Gaunt, Harold Mack Gaunt, Barbara Gaunt and Graydon Gibson. 
Viewing will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at the Pleasant Dale Church of the Brethren, and also from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the church.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Pleasant Dale Church of the Brethren with Pastor Jay Carter officiating.   Burial will be in the Pleasant Dale Cemetery.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials to Camp Alexander Mack “Growing from the Ashes.”
Arrangements are being handled by Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home, Decatur.
