Aldine Moser, 101, of Bluffton, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 at Christian Care Retirement Community.
Born in Adams County on Sept. 18, 1911 to Jacob and Fannie (Reinhard) Kaehr, she married Harold A. Moser on Sept. 12, 1936 in Bluffton; he died Dec. 15, 1976.
She was a housewife and a member of the Apostolic Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, Philip R. (Jean) Moser of Decatur; two daughters, Ann (Jerry) Gerber of Bluffton and Cindy (Leon) Kauffman of Monroe; a brother, Fred “Ted” Kaehr of Bluffton; a daughter-in-law, Pat (Lonnie) Bertsch of Decatur; 15 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dwight “Butch” Moser; two brothers, Ezra Kaehr and Walter Kaehr; and five sisters, Lillian Bertsch, Frances Kaehr, Mabel Kipfer, Sylvia Gerber, and Alice Kaehr.
Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church East with Doyle Frauhiger and Mark Gerber officiating. Calling hours are Sunday from 1 to 8 p.m. at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel and Monday for one hour prior to the services at the church.
Burial will be in the Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to the Christian Care Retirement Community.
