Aldine Moser, 101, of Bluffton, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Christian Care Retirement Community.
Born in Adams County on Sept. 12, 1911, to Jacob and Fannie (Reinhard) Kaehr, she married Harold A. Moser on Sept. 12, 1936, in Bluffton; he died Dec. 15, 1976.
She was a housewife and a member of the Apostolic Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, Philip R. (Jean) Moser of Decatur; two daughters, Ann (Jerry) Gerber of Bluffton and Cindy (Leon) Kauffman of Monroe; a brother, Fred “Ted” Kaehr of Bluffton; a daughter-in-law, Pat (Lonnie) Bertsch of Decatur; 15 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dwight “Butch” Moser; two brothers, Ezra Kaehr and Walter Kaehr; and four sisters, Lillian Bertsch, Frances Kaehr, Mabel Kipfer and Alice Kaehr.
Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church East with Doyle Frauhiger and Mark Gerber officiating. Calling hours are Sunday from 1 to 8 p.m. at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel and Monday for one hour prior to the services at the church.
Burial will be in the Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to the Christian Care Retirement Community.
