When my cell phone rang at 3:42 a.m. Friday, April 18, the first thought — no, fear — that entered my mind was that something had happened with one of my students.
Now is the time to say “thank you” to a child care provider. Friday, May 9th, has been designated as Provider Appreciation Day. This is a time to publicly thank a child care provider for the important job that they do. Child care providers have a vital impact on children’s development, as well as having a great responsibility to their health and safety. If this day slips by, I hope you will choose another day to say a special thank you.
I was on the Honor Guard for three years then elected Sgt. at Arms for the last two years.
After I received an invitation to attend one of the three Republican Platform Hearings, a Republican tradition in Indiana dating back to 1856, I travelled to the REMC Building in Indianapolis yesterday afternoon to attend the second hearing.
Justin Peeper was right on with his editorial April 15 regarding those who serve in our Wells County Dispatch Center. And the same could be said for other dispatch centers as well.
Garbage carts....I wasn’t aware the carts are supposed to make the city neater. It was meant for safety of the employess that lifted those very overweight large ugly can, with most not having lids.
First of all I would like to thank Mayor Ted Ellis for all he done for us at our council meetings and for voting “yes” in our behalf for a handicapped spot for in front of our house.
The left wing liberals should take notice of what it takes for our United States to survive.
