Otters relay team first at senior state finals

Logan Brink, Andrea Campeau, Paige Brink and Haley Richter of the Huntington-Wells Otters swim team recently took first place at the Indiana Senior State Championships at Brownsburg.

Campeau, Richter and the Brink sisters won the 400-yard freestyle relay in 3:32.57.

Other Otters, ages 15 and above, received medals as members of the top eight finishers.

Nikki Hubbard, Paige Brink, Richter and Campeau placed second in the 400-yard medley relay in 3:55.08. Richter swam the backstroke, Hubbard the breaststroke, Brink the butterfly and Campeau the freestyle.

Emily Wisolek, Richter and the Brinks were fifth in the 800-yard freestyle relay in 7:53.65.

In the girls open, Logan Brink was sixth place in the 100-yard freestyle in 52.99 seconds.

Paige Brink was seventh in the 100-yard butterfly in 58.75.
