Members of the Norwell Knights boys basketball team voted on different team awards following the 2007-08 season. Senior Klayton Reed took the most valuable player and mental attitude awards, while Reed and fellow senior Ryne Otis tied for the top player on offense. Sophomore Klay Fiechter was the top player on defense. Jeremy McGrew was the top free-throw shooter, averaging 68.8 percent for the season.
Reed also was a first team member of the Northeast Hoosier Conference team, while Otis was a second team selection.
The following freshman team players were individual award winners: Ross Mathews, offensive most valuable player; Adam Lambert, defensive most valuable player; Brandon Johnson, mental attitude award; Kyle Isch, most impoved player.
