ZANESVILLE
The town of Zanesville is in both Wells and Allen Counties. The Wells County Area Plan Commission serves the entire town. Zanesville’s elected officials are the three members of the Zanesville Town Council and the Town Clerk-Treasurer.  They were elected in 2006. Regular town council meetings were designated as the third Thursday evening of each month at 6:30 p.m.

The Zanesville Sewage phone number is 638-0051. The Zanesville sanitary sewer system is connected to the Allen County and Fort Wayne wastewater treatment facilities.
Carl Collins is the Zanesville Town Marshal. The police NON-EMERGENCY number is 638-4080.
Fire protection is by the Southwest Allen County Fire Department. The NON-EMERGENCY number is 747-2938.
Electric service is from American Electric Power and United REMC. Natural gas service is from NIPSCO. Garbage collection is by National Serv-All.
Zanesville’s annual major community activity is the Homespun Days event in early September. Plans are underway for the 2008 Homespun Days.
