OUABACHE STATE PARK
(Pronounced “Wabash”)
Ouabache State Park is a 1,104-acre state park property bordering the Wabash River east of Bluffton at 4930E State Road 201, Bluffton 46714. It is operated by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Division of State Parks and Reservoirs.
Robert S. Greiner is the Property Manager. Charlie Schantz is the assistant manager.
Directions: Take Ind. 124 east from Ind. 1 to Ind. 201, turn south and follow state park signs to main entrance.

Office Hours: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday from November through April. Daily hours May 1 through Oct. 31 are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., seven days a week.
Admission Fees: $4 per car for residents Mon-Thur; $5 per car for residents Fri-Sun & Holidays. $7 per car for non residents daily. $36 annual pass for residents; $46 for annual pass for non residents; $18 Golden Hoosier Passport. Fees collected seasonally from May through October. (Subject to change)
Camping Facilities: 77-site electric campground; 47-site non-electric campground. Both with modern restroom and shower facilities. Reservations available from May 1st to October 31 through Central Reservation System @ 1-866-622-6746 or on-line @ www.CAMP.IN.Gov
Primitive Youth Tent Campground for approved youth groups under adult supervision.
Swimming Pool: Open May 26, 2007 through Aug. 12, 2007 from noon to 7 p.m. daily. Lifeguards on duty. From Aug. 18, 2007 through Sept. 3, 2007 open on weekends only from noon to 7 p.m. Pool subject to closing during late summer. $2 per person per day, includes water slide. $35 for 25 visits ($15 savings).
Kunkel Lake: 25-acre lake offers fishing for largemouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish and other game fish. License required. Canoe, john boat and paddle boat rental available.
Recreational Opportunities: Hiking trails, paved bike trail, bison exhibit, firetower, naturalist activities, playground equipment, picnic shelters, play fields and tennis/basketball courts. A paved bike trail extension connects Ouabache State Park to the Bluffton Rivergreenway Trail for a combined distance of almost 5 miles.
