Laura Gentis has been named regional vice president for financial services for Farm Credit Services of Mid-America, a $16 billion agriculture lending cooperative serving over 85,500 farmers throughout Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana and Tennessee.
Gentis, manager of the Bluffton office, will now oversee three sales offices — Bluffton, Kokomo, and Marion. She previously worked as an assistant vice president of financial services for Farm Credit in northeastern Indiana.
She holds a bachelors degree in business management from Indiana Wesleyan University. Gentis is a member of the Bluffton Optimist Club, sits on the Board of Directors of the Wells County Foundation and attends First Church of Christ in Bluffton. She and her husband Rick have two grown children and one grandson.
“I am excited to begin serving in the capacity of regional vice president of northeast Indiana,” Gentis said. “Farm Credit Services is dedicated to providing financial services to the farmers and rural residents in our local communities.
