There is good news and there is bad news from Indiana’s unemployment report that was released Wednesday.
The good news is that only 20 counties in Indiana have lower unemployment rates than Wells County. Wells County is one of five counties with a preliminary unemployment rate of 9.8 percent in January. There is no other county in northeast Indiana with a jobless rate of less than double digits; Allen County’s 10.7 percent is closest to Wells.
