Work on one has begun, and the second is now officially in right-of-way acquisition phase.
County Engineer Larry Owen reported to the commissioners Monday morning that construction has begun on the new bridge on 400W over Rock Creek. He also brought along with him the official contract with INDOT confirming how federal funds will be used for the reconstruction of the bridge on 900S over the Salamonie River, which the commissioners duly signed.
