With the board of directors holding their annual meeting Tuesday night, the Bluffton Street Fair is in somewhat of their “home stretch” to the 100th edition.
“We’ve been talking about this for the past five years,” said board president Jon Brown, who has served in that post for the past several years. He conducted the meeting, held in the Bluffton Common Council chambers, reviewing end-of year financials and the status of plans for what was described several times during the meeting as “a really special fair.”
Rhonda Ryan has been tabbed to chair the anniversary fair, something she’s been working on now for almost two years, and reports that a number of plans are starting to come together.
