The Bluffton Pizza Hut restaurant will be one of 15 area stores helping to raise funds for the Turnstone Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities.

From 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, Pizza Hut of Fort Wayne Inc. will donate to Turnstone $1 from every adult dinner buffet and 50 cents from every child dinner buffet purchased at the regular price.  The fundraiser includes the Bluffton restaurant at 632 N. Main St. plus the Pizza Hut restaurants in Fort Wayne, Auburn, Angola, Berne, Columbia City, Decatur, Huntington, Kendallville, New Haven, North Manchester, Portland, Van Wert, Wabash, and Waynedale.

Pizza Hut of Fort Wayne Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Rick Oliphant says the company enjoys the opportunity to provide support to Turnstone.  “The amount of time and effort that Turnstone spends improving peoples lives is truly remarkable, and we’re looking forward to another successful year,” he said.

Founded in 1943, Turnstone has offered comprehensive, lifelong services to people of all ages, from infants to seniors.  The agency’s mission is to “enhance the lives of all persons with physical disabilities and their families.”  In 2008 and 2009 the agency provided services to more than 2,000 people throughout northeast Indiana. For more information on Turnstone, call 260-483-2100 or visit the www.turnstone.org Web site.
