Superintendent Scott Mills advised the members of the Northern Wells Community Schools board that they would need to cut another $700,000 from the budget to meet General Fund revenues set by the state.
The NWCS district, Mills said, was too big to be sustained by expected state revenue.
“With last year’s reductions we thought we got down to the right size, but apparently not,” Mills said.
