MARKLE — Town council members agreed to lend Markle’s support to proposals for the use of pictometry for GIS purposes Wednesday evening.
The proposal relates to the plans by Wells County Assessor Nilah Aschliman to use pictometry to assist with property tax reassessments, as these are tackled in-house in future. In the past, the reassessment project has been contracted out, with Nexus performing the task.
