When a person uses one’s talents and abilities to help another in need, it is one of life’s greatest moments. Norwell High School graduate Kelli Kunkel Heath realizes the impact of this each morning as she steps foot outside of her home in Auburn at 4:40 a.m. to run.
In the dark and cold weather, Heath, a former member of the Norwell cross country and track teams, treks six miles around her neighborhood with local teacher Michelle Molargik. On Saturdays, they push themselves to do 14 miles, rain or shine. The two women meet early because of their lifestyles -- Molargik is a teacher with two children. Heath is married to Shane Heath, a fellow 1996 Norwell graduate. They have two children, Ian Scott, 6, and Anna J., 3. Kelli works full time as a probation officer.
