Former Bluffton resident Kyle S. Smith, 35, of Portland, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, from injuries received in an automobile accident. The accident occurred on Balbec Road, west of Ind.1 in Jay County.

George D. Watters, 84
George D. Watters, 84, of Daytona Beach Shores, Fla., died Monday, Nov. 10, 2008, at his home.
He was a 1942 graduate of Bluffton High School and graduated from the Indiana College of Mortuary Science in 1947.
