Bluffton-Harrison school officials have released the following information pertaining to bus routes and pick-up times for the upcoming 2008-2009 school year:
COUNTRY ROUTES
Estimated pick up time for High School/Middle School students - 6:25 to 7:20 a.m.
Estimated pick up time for B-H Elementary students - 7:55 to 8:25 a.m.
Bus #11 - Mike Gerwig - 273-9237
Elementary, MS/HS route - North boundary is SR 124, south boundary is the Wabash River, east boundary is 800E, west boundary is 450E. Also students residing in the State Park.
Bus #12 - Ron Anderson - 824-3033
Elementary, MS/HS route - North boundary is County Rd. 100S (Western Ave.), south boundary is 200S, west boundary is Meridian Rd., east boundary is Hoosier Hwy. Includes Hi-Lo addition.
Bus #2 - Julia Prible - 824-3008
Elementary, MS/HS route - North boundary is SR 116, south boundary is SR 218, east boundary is 800E, west boundary is County Home Rd. Also includes all stops on SR 116 East and Old Creek Addition.
Bus #8 - Sondra Jones - 824-9388
Elementary, MS/HS route - North boundary is 200S, south boundary is SR 218, west boundary is Meridian Rd., east boundary is 200E. Also included in all routes is Maple Grove Estates, Spring St. Elementary route will include For Kids Sake Day Care (First Church of Christ).
Bus #7 - Jerry Petzel - 273-0544
Elementary, MS/HS route - North boundary is SR 116, east boundary is County Home Rd., south boundary is SR 218, west boundary is 200E. Elementary route will include New Life Day Care.
TOWN ROUTES
Bus #15 - Deb Pursley - 824-0786
MS/HS route - North boundary is Hale St., east boundary is Main St., south boundary is Wabash St., west boundary is Bond St.
Elementary route - North boundary is Hale St., east boundary is Oak St., south boundary is Washington St., west boundary is Bond St. Also included is Wabash St. west of Main St.
Bus #3 - Bob Sliger - 824-9442
Elementary, MS/HS route - North boundary is Wiley Ave., west boundary is Indiana St., south boundary is Horton St., east boundary is Main St. Route starts at W. Townley St. to Clark Ave. then to Wiley St.
Bus #5 - John Houlihan - 824-5744
MS/HS route - North boundary is River Rd. & Wabash St., west boundary is Wayne St., south boundary is Spring St., east boundary is Stogdill Rd. Also included is Liberty St. from Spring St. to Wiley Ave.
Elementary route - Same as above except the west boundary is Mulberry St.
Bus #9 - Cathy Petty - 824-3924
MS/HS route - North boundary is Washington St., west boundary is Morgan St., south boundary is Wiley Ave., east boundary is Main St.
Elementary route - North boundary is Wabash St., west boundary is Oak St., south boundary is Wiley Ave., east boundary is Main St.
Bus #14 - Wayne Monticue - 824-0998
Elementary, MS/HS route - North boundary is Washington St., west boundary is Midway St., south boundary is Wiley Ave., east boundary is Oak St.
Bus #10 - Ann Reifsteck - 824-1044
MS/HS route - Route will be between SR 124 on the north through Elm Grove. City boundaries will be River Rd. on the north, Wiley St. on the south including 5 blocks between Main & Wayne Sts. Stops set at intersections on Scott St. (north of Wiley) and ALL of Mulberry St. Route includes ALL of 300 block of Mulberry between River Rd. and East Spring St.
Elementary route - Route in the city will be between River Rd. on the north, East Spring on the south, Main St. on the west and Mulberry St. on the east. Bus stops will be on Scott St. for students who live in the 100-300 blocks east of Main St. Also, SR 124 to including Elm Grove Rd.
Bus #16 - Bev Taylor - 824-5351
MS/HS route - Market St. to Bond St., then goes to Washington. From Washington makes turn onto Beth Ave. then down Wiley. Stops at Wiley Ave. and Dougherty St., Wiley Ave. and Baldwin St., and Wiley Ave. and Indiana St.
BLUFFTON HIGH SCHOOL
In a.m. all buses will unload at the High School on the south side between 7:15 and 7:25.
In p.m. only certain buses will be at the High School to pick up students. The buses will be on the south side in front of the building and the students will board for transportation to the Middle School and then home.
BLUFFTON MIDDLE SCHOOL
In a.m. all buses will unload at WEST and SOUTH side entrances between 7:25 and 7:30.
In p.m. the following buses will load on the SOUTH side of building: BUS #2, #5, #7, #8, and #12
In p.m. the following buses will load on the WEST side of building: BUS #3, #9, #10, #11, #14, #15, and #16
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
In a.m. all buses will unload in EAST parking lot between 8:35 and 8:40.
In p.m. all buses will line up in assigned parking space in parking lot on EAST side of building.
Dismissal at 3:35 p.m.
