Drew Imel makes Indiana Open field
Drew Imel shot an even par 70 at Rozella Ford Golf Club in Warsaw to qualify for the PGA Indiana Open. The Open will be played July 7-10 at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel. The format is 36-hole stroke play and cut to the low 70s the last two days.

JBG’s 10, First Bank of Berne 9
Dane Hoffman stole home plate in the bottom of the sixth inning to score the winning run for JBG’s in a Bluffton Junior League baseball game last Thursday night at Jefferson Park. JBG’s overcame a 9-8 deficit with two runs in the sixth inning. Brandon Norman got one of his four hits in the inning to help notch the victory. Hoffman also had two hits and Kyler Fugate was the winning pitcher. Colt Preston and Jay Brickley each posted three hits to lead First Bank of Berne, while Jacob Shaffer and Clay Watson each recorded two hits.

Summer track meets scheduled
New Haven High School will be hosting six track and field meets on Wednesday nights, June 25 and July 2, 9 and16. Meets begin at 6 p.m. Cost is 50 cents per event.
