Coaching openings at So. Wells

Bluffton needs coaches
The Bluffton Athletic Department is seeking qualified candidates and taking applications for coaching positions for football, volleyball and wrestling. Interested applicants should contact Athletics Director Steve Thompson at 824-3724 as soon as possible.

Taylor Imel records first place finish
Taylor Imel of Bluffton posted a first-place finish in an Indiana Golf Foundation Mountain Dew Tour event at the Peru golf course on Monday. Imel shot a two-over par 74 to lead the boys 15-16 age group at Peru.

Pizza Hut 11, JBG’s 4
Ritchie Conley struck out 18 batters to help Pizza Hut melt JBG’s 11-4 in a Bluffton Junior League baseball game on Monday at Jefferson Park. Conley also stroked a triple and single to spark Pizza Hut’s 17-hit attack. Graham Denney and Drew Hunter each added three singles. Thomas Elliott, Dylan Longenberger and Kohl Buskirk each doubled and singled. JBG’s was held to two hits, including a home run by Dane Hoffman, who also was the losing pitcher.

T-Ball scores reported
The following Bluffton T-Ball League scores have been reported: Wells Fargo 21, Goodwin Memorial Chapel 14; Dairy Queen 18, Apache Propane 16.
