Lady Knights roll over Elmhurst 13-3 in six

The Norwell Lady Knights softball team defeated the Elmhurst Lady Trojans 13-3 on Saturday in a six-inning game at Norwell.

Alyssa Shutt (3-3) was the winning pitcher. Shutt pitched three innings, allowing one earned run on four hits. Elizabeth Ault finished up, allowing an unearned run, walking two and striking out five over three innings.

Shutt also drove in three runs with two hits. Amanda Meyer had four RBIs and doubled. Danielle Davis also had three RBIs and four hits, including a triple and double. Melissa Werling had three hits, including a double and scored four runs. Davis scored three runs and Shutt two.

Courtney Brodie added two singles.

Norwell improves to 9-14.
