Graduation ceremonies for private and public schools in Wells County have been announced, with two ceremonies slated for this coming weekend.
On Sunday, May 18, the Wells Association of Christian Home Educators (WACHE) will graduate 14 seniors in a ceremony to be held at the Bluffton First Church of the Nazarene at 2:30 p.m.
Also on Sunday, at 4 p.m., commencement exercises will be held for three seniors at the Community Christian School, with the ceremony to be held at the Covenant Chapel.
The Kingdom Academy school has set its graduation services for 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 24 at the school.
Bluffton High School’s commencement exercises for the class of 2008 will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 30 in the gymnasium.
Norwell High School and Southern Wells High School graduation ceremonies will both be held on Sunday, June 1.
Norwell’s commencement will begin at 1:30 p.m. and activities at Southern Wells begin at 2:30 p.m.with a baccalaureate service followed by commencement at 3:30 p.m.
Norwell’s Dollars for Scholars awards program will be held Friday, May 16, at 7 p.m. at the high school, while the Bluffton/Southern Wells Dollars for Scholars event will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 18 at Bluffton High School.
