Senior Klayton Reed has been selected as Norwell High School’s ICE Student of the Week for the week of April 21, 2008.
Klayton’s place of employment in conjunction with the ICE Program is the Decatur Walmart where he works in the electronics department serving customers, operating the cash register, and stocking merchandise. His supervisor is Greg Farmer.
Klayton is the son of Kevin and Karen Reed of Bluffton. Following graduation, Klayton plans to attend Carthage College in Wisconsin to study business management and sports marketing. He also plans to run cross country and track for the Reds.
This spotlight award is earned by the ICE students who display outstanding attitudes, academics, attendance, work ethic, and initiative. Recipients of this award must receive rave evaluations from their workplace supervisor who grades the ICE student on 14 various criteria. Norwell’s ICE Program has 80 seniors this year.
