The American School Counselor Association (ASCA) has announced that Norwell High School is among the 60 schools from 14 states that will be recognized June 30 for making an exemplary commitment to comprehensive school counseling programs.
While most voters casting ballots at the polls Tuesday were electing candidates for the fall election, in the Southern Wells district, voters were making a final decision on who will represent their interest on the Southern Wells School Board for the next four years.
The Southern Wells FFA held their annual Spring Awards Banquet on April 15 to recognize the member’s achievements of the past year.
Senior Bethany Wilson has been selected as Norwell High School’s ICE Student of the Week for the week of April 28, 2008.
Two Wells County students will receive four-year full-tuition scholarships as the Wells County Foundation 2008 Lilly Endowment Community Scholars.
By ANDREW FEEBACK Some third grade students at Lancaster Elementarty School have had the opportunity to communicate with others in different states through a fun project involving a book the students recently read.

Compensation for serving on the Southern Wells Community Schools Board of Trustees is : $1,000 per year.

Members, families and community supporters gathered at the annual Norwell FFA awards banquet in the high school cafeteria on Friday, April 11. The evening was dedicated to honoring those members who have been apart of the organization and who have excelled in various categories.
