Wells students read well

Third-grade reading test scores at three of Wells County’s four public elementary schools exceeded the state’s standard, according to data released Wednesday from the Indiana Department of Education.
More than 90 percent of third-grade students at Bluffton-Harrison Elementary, Lancaster Central, and Ossian Elementary passed the IREAD-3 test, a standardized test implemented in the 2011-2012 school year to monitor third-grade students’ reading abilities.
