Voters head to polls early

As early voting in Wells County ends its first week, indications are that 2012 will see a heavier than usual turnout.
In 2008, when the last presidential election was held — and Indiana was a state in play — 292 Wells County residents voted during the first week. This year, as of just after 1 p.m. Friday, 338 people had cast their vote.
