Still working ...

March 8, 2014

The drive-through window at the PNC branch in downtown Bluffton is undergoing renovation, but it continues in operation while the work goes on. Since the bank closed its drive-through facility on North Main Street earlier this year, the renovation is intended to make the drive-through operation more efficient. The window actually no longer exists, as the hole is now covered by plywood. The pneumatic tubes from drive-through customers in the two right lanes go directly to the bank’s lobby. The site of the window, which used to be available to customers through a sliding drawer, is slated to become a drive-up ATM. (Photo by Dave Schultz)
