Sisters reconnect after 57 years apart

LaOTTO — Sue Vargo picked up her home phone shortly after Mother’s Day. She was talking to her daughter on a cell phone at the same time.
“My name is Robin Hoover, and I’m looking for my family. And I think you’re my sister,” said the voice at the other end of the line.
Vargo told her daughter she’d call her back — and sat down.
