Parker soaking up his first season

DETROIT — On his fourth day of rest before making the 27th start of his major league rookie season, Oakland A’s right-hander Jarrod Parker was cheering on his teammates in their 12-4 comeback victory over the Detroit Tigers Thursday at Comerica Park.
