NWCS wants a resource officer

The Indiana Department of Homeland Security is offering grant funding to improve school security, and Northern Wells Superintendent Scott Mills would like to apply to hire a school resource officer, he said Tuesday.
The state would pay $50,000 in matching funds for two years each, though Northern Wells would need to reapply for the second year.
