NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE
CITY OF BLUFFTON
The City of Bluffton will hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. on June 10, 2014 at their Council Chambers located at the City Hall Building, 128 East Market Street, Bluffton, IN to present and receive public comments on the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements Preliminary Engineering Report. The City of Bluffton’s engineering consultant will present a summary of the recommended upgrades to Bluffton’s wastewater infrastructure which include the construction of new headworks facilities, grit removal, influent metering, pump station improvements, new standby emergency power and the replacement of two digester covers at the existing wastewater treatment facility as described in the PER. The project will be funded through a WWSRF loan. A summary of the PER will be presented at this hearing. The complete copy of the Preliminary Engineering Report is available for public inspection and review at City Hall. At the hearing, there will be an opportunity for questions and comments from the public. The Public is invited and encouraged to appear and speak on the merits of the proposed Report and Plan at the public hearing. Written comments concerning the Report may be filed at anytime prior to the hearing and for a period of five (5) days following the hearing at City Hall located at 128 East Market Street, Bluffton, IN 46714.
