IN THE MATTER OF THE VERIFIED PETITION OF INDIANA MICHIGAN POWER COMPANY FOR APPROVAL OF AN ADJUSTMENT TO ITS RATES THROUGH ITS DEMAND SIDE MANAGEMENT AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROGRAM COST RIDER COMMENCING WITH THE BILLING MONTH OF JANUARY 2014 AND FOR APPROVAL OF CORE AND CORE PLUS DEMAND SIDE MANAGEMENT AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROGRAMS FOR 2014 AND ASSOCIATED ACCOUNTING AND RATEMAKING RECOGNITION, INCLUDING TIMELY RECOVERY OF ASSOCIATED COSTS, INCLUDING NET LOST REVENUE, SHAREHOLDER INCENTIVES AND CARRYING CHARGES AND DEPRECIATION EXPENSE ON CERTAIN CORE PLUS CAPITAL EXPENDITURES THROUGH I&M’S DSM/EE PROGRAM COST RIDER.
Please be notified that on July 1, 2013, Indiana Michigan Power Company, the Petitioner in the above-entitled cause, filed with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission its Petition for approval of an adjustment to its rates through its Demand-side Management and Energy Efficiency (“DSM/EE”) Program Cost Rider commencing with the billing month of January 2014; for approval of Core and Core Plus DSM/EE Programs for 2014; and approval of associated accounting and ratemaking recognition as stated in the Caption of the proceeding and further detailed in I&M’s Petition and supporting evidence. I&M seeks relief under the Alternative Utility Regulation Statute, IC 8-1-2.5, to the extent necessary, particularly with regard to I&M’s request for approval to recover certain capital expenditures through the above referenced Rider.
