Knights’ season ends with loss to Dwenger

FORT WAYNE — For the last 67 minutes of the match, the Norwell boys’ soccer team kept the Bishop Dwenger Saints scoreless Thursday evening.
But the problem for the Knights was that the Saints had jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first 13 minutes of the Indiana High School Athletic Association Class 2A Regional No. 3 at Carroll High School.
Saints’ freshman midfielder John Pollifrone scored both goals to give them all they needed. Bishop Dwenger’s defense did the rest by keeping the Knights in check.
