This past Sunday I had an opportunity to watch history in the making as Austrian skydiver, daredevil and base jumper Felix Baumgartner stepped from a capsule at the edge of space and plummeted a full 23 miles, traveling at speeds in excess of 800 miles per hour, right back to earth.
