June 14’s ‘De-Trash the Wabash’ effort will offer unique prizes

Another “De-Trash the Wabash” effort is planned for next Saturday, June 14, and there’s a little extra at stake this time: Find the SUV and win a prize.
It’s not much of a prize, but it’s more than has been offered before.
Stacia Henderson, watershed coordinator for the Upper Wabash River Basin Commission, said the individual who finds a missing sports utility vehicle in the river will receive a small trophy and a T-shirt. The wording on the shirt, she said, is a conversation starter: “Ask me what I found in the Wabash River.”
