Guest Column—Why the economic development contract needs to be honored

Several months ago, chamber president Brent Hiday and I appeared before the commissioners to present a proposal to stimulate local economic growth by using County Economic Development Income Tax (CEDIT) revenues for an Economic Development Project Fund.
