Council OKs loan to Parks Department

Tuesday night’s meeting of the Bluffton Common Council was remarkably short and, at least to the Parks and Recreation Department, sweet.
Every year, the city loans the Parks and Recreation Department money, expecting it to be repaid at the end of the year. The Parks Department has its own tax levy, and relies on the tax draws from the May and November property tax payments to fund its operations.
