Bluffton girls come up short

After starting the last quarter trailing by 17 points, the Bluffton Tigers nearly battled back to pull out a gritty victory, but the Churubusco Eagles held on to win 36-29 Wednesday night.
In the second game of the Class 2A girls’ basketball sectional hosted by Bluffton, the Tigers (5-15) fought back to within five points at 34-29 late in the game.
