Big plays push Lions past Knights

A close game early in the second quarter turned into a 42-6 rout by the Leo Lions over the host Norwell Knights Friday night in the season opener at the Courtyard.
Norwell junior quarterback Piercen Harnish bolted away for an 80-yard touchdown run at 9:34 of the second period to cut Leo’s lead to 7-6.
Leo had drawn first blood on the opening kickoff when Chandler Fields broke away for a 94-yard return for a touchdown.
